SOPIANAE – ROMAN FINDS PERMANENT ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXHIBITION (from May, 2015 to May, 2023 - the exhibition is closed) (Pécs, 4 Káptalan Street) The first section of the permanent archaeological exhibition „Sopianae – Roman finds of Baranya County” was opened in May, 2015. The collection offers numerous ceramics and glass findings as well as the accessories of a burial coach from the 2nd century and the world-wide known bronze portrait of Marcus Aurelius – excavated at Dunaszekcső. An interactive 3D animation is an essential part of the exhibition.
Commemoration of Janus Pannonius
The Pécs Club of the Janus Pannonius Museum in Pécs and the Association of Landscape Ages Museums held a commemoration and wreath-laying ceremony on March 27, 2015 in the sub-church of the Pécs Cathedral on the occasion of the 543rd anniversary of the death of the poet-bishop Janus Pannonius. The commemoration was opened by Gábor Tillai historian.

Professor Paulo Galluzzi, director general of the Galileo Museum in Florence, a professor at Harvard University, greets the participants of the opening of the exhibition Leonardo, the Renaissance Genius. The exhibition is open to the public in Pécs between 15 April 2014 and 30 September 2014.
Setting up of the Sforza horse on Széchenyi Square in Pécs
Masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci in Pécs! The opening ceremony of the exhibition will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. The accurate, authentic models of the exhibition and the multimedia content are based on Leonardo da Vinci's great inventions, original drawings and manuscripts. The aim of the exhibition is to get a closer look at Leonardo's creative mind. The symbol of the the exhibition is the Sforza horse, standing in Széchenyi Square. This video (by Gábor Makai and Balázs Sárics) was created by using thousands of photos made from March 18 to 27, 2014.
